Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, organise and lead programmes and activities, either one-to-one or on a group basis, depending on the preferences, needs and limitations of each client.
  • Orientate new clients into the programmes and activities.
  • Understand and able to apply the whole Person-Centred Care approach concept.
  • Procure consumables as needed by day-to-day activity sessions.
  • Monitor the supply and condition of equipment and activity props and supplies and assist to procure the items when needed.
  • Carry out any other duties as and when assigned.

Requirements:

  • Possess at least GCE O Levels or higher qualifications.
  • Passionate about dementia care and working with people.
  • Hands-on, with skills in baking, arts & crafts, flower arrangement, singing, dancing, etc.
  • Gentle and patient.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint.
  • Able to work independently and as a responsible team player.
  • Good oral and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
  • Has prior working experience in dementia care.
