Google.org's APAC grantmaking team works closely with cross-functional partners across the company to make cash grants to nonprofit organizations that drive innovative social impact and create brand love for Google. We're looking for candidates with the enthusiasm and passion to help solve some of the world's biggest problems, challenge systems of injustice and promote equity and access to opportunity for everyone.
In this role, you will support the grantmaking management by coordinating the process with internal and external stakeholders, due diligence on the ongoing grants in the Asia Pacific, and supporting the infrastructure and operations of the team.
Role and responsibilities:
General Project and Operations coordination
Support diverse social impact projects helping NGOs to help underserved communities (e.g. Digital Responsibility(misinformation, online safety, cybersecurity:youth, elderly, women, PwDs, etc.)).
Support grant lead on grant operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the grant management operations and communications
Track, measure and evaluate key success metrics of our work
Deck creation
Admin support on budget and contracts
Marketing and communications
Create a portfolio of program participant case studies for APAC
Content creation such as newsletters, emails, and other assets
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
Relevant experience in program management, strategy consulting, or philanthropy
Preferred qualifications:
Experience working with nonprofit organizations, particularly in the area of economic advancement and/or digital responsibility
Lived experience and/or professional proximity within socially and economically excluded communities
Ability to report to multiple stakeholders, providing frequent updates and effective communication in a fast paced environment
Ability to create clear, concise and errorless emails, docs and presentations
Humility - approaches beneficiary communities with a commitment to listening and servant leadership
Creativity and presence - has a knack for storytelling and a drive to tell the Google.org story to a range of audiences
Strong project management skills; excellent written communication and impeccable attention to detail
