Position Overview: In the Customer Support and Services entity, and under the responsibility of the Senior Program Manager, the Aftermarket Program Manager must ensure that the objectives set by the company's management and the contractual commitments made to the customer are met.
Operational Duties:
Oversee aftermarket programs (in service and/or underdevelopment) in the client portfolio to ensure customer satisfaction and program profitability in line with company objectives. This includes:
. Collaborating closely with sales, engineering, supply chain, front office, and other departments as necessary to ensure the delivered product meets company requirements
. Working closely with sales, engineering, and supply chain, while striving to eliminate or adjust process issues that prevent meeting customer program commitments
. Monitoring budget, warranties, and key customer satisfaction indicators
. Implementing necessary actions to ensure budget and customer satisfaction align with company objectives and policy
Develop and maintain relationships with customers, distributors, partners, and other Safran companies in the region
Define and deploy after-sales strategies for the client portfolio, adhering to Safran program management milestones
Align program strategies across the Safran Seats Support and Services entity for the client portfolio
Manage in-service issues related to the client portfolio with the support of all internal stakeholders (engineering, field support, front office, supply chain, etc.)
Customer Interface:
Act as the main interface and point of contact with the customer: airlines, OEMs...
Maintain the customer relationship
Prepare formal reviews with the customer, as per the contract, and ensure the compliance of deliverables
Make necessary decisions to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to contractual commitments
Verify and communicate customer specifications and manage modifications
Compliance and Management:
Adhere to the SAFRAN program management framework to achieve objectives.
Candidate Profile:
Knowledge of program/project/contract management
Proven ability to manage complex projects
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
Ability to escalate issues at the right time and to the right level
Decision-making and problem-solving skills
Good team spirit
Experience:
5-8 years of experience as a project/program manager or project engineer (preferably in an aerospace environment).
International work experience is an advantage.
Strong negotiation skills and ease in a commercial environment during negotiations
Ability to analyze complex problems, summarize them, and find solutions
Persistence and resilience
Proficiency in standard office software suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of PowerBI is an asset.
