Summary
The Program Manager manages the QLTC performance related to an assigned product or product group after release for volume up to the time of phase-out (EOL). Fulfils QLTC objectives and develops projects. Discusses performance with suppliers and aims for improvement.
Responsibilities:
Strategy Contribution
- Provides input on account plans for customers
- Provides input on the site's technical roadmap
- Provides input on portfolio management for the customer concerned
Project Management
- Improves the margin and efficiency of a product or product group
- Implements life cycle management and determines the needs together with the customer
- Sets up the spare and repair policy for a product or product group
- Chairs the Change Control Board (change management and handling)
- Monitor sand documents product history (product backlog)
Operational Performance
- Monitors QLTC gaps and supply chain optimisation
- Escalates critical operational issues
- Defines and follows up on standard operating procedures
Customer Relationship
- Identifies and initiates preventive and corrective measures to improve performance as part of the win-win partnership between the customer and NTS
- Monitors progress and evaluates initiated optimisation campaigns
Communication
- Documents and maintains (part of) the customer portfolio
- Reports on progress of initiated optimisations to internal stakeholders and thecustomer
- Provides input for calculations and quotations
- Works in accordance with environmental and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
- 3-7 years of experience in product management, project management, or operations within manufacturing, electronics, or industrial environments
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external suppliers/customers
- Strong understanding of QLTC (Quality, Logistics, Technology, Cost) principles
- Proven experience in product lifecycle management (PLM) and change management processes
- Knowledge of supply chain operations, cost optimization, and margin improvement
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and data analysis tools
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
