Program Manager (Engineering Change Management)

Purpose: The Program Manager specialized in Engineering Change Management is responsible for managing and implementing engineering/configuration changes within the program to ensure smooth business operations. This role involves developing change management plans, assessing risks, coordinating with various internal teams, and providing change information and support to stakeholder.

Key Area of Responsibilities:

• Act as contact point with customer for all the engineering/configuration changes to be made.
• Coordinate with the customer to establish the critical path and confirm the required dates for the changes.
• Assess the impact and completeness of change request, discuss them with customer, providing a counter proposal if necessary and eventually implementing them efficiently into the Item Master (ITM) and project if applicable.
• Coordinate the implementation of engineering/configuration changes in ongoing production and the supply chain.
• Execute the changes via internal change control system and work with Product Data Control team to update the ERP system.
• Identify long lead items in program and discuss with customer of their impacts and how to mitigate to control the total lead time of products.
• Involved in planning phase of the projects, collaborate with Program Managers and controllers closely to determine timelines and constraints of the project execution.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all change management activities.
• Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible for future reference, auditing purposes and traceability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Project Management or related field.
• Proven experience in change management or project management within an engineering environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to assess risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Proficiency in change management software and tools.
• Familiarity with engineering process and systems.
• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies preferred
