About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Program Manager with proven Data Center Network Deployment experience to support critical infrastructure projects in the APAC region. This is a contract position based in Singapore, working closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors to drive the successful launch and operation of our Singapore data center.
What You'll Do
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional Network Deployment projects (Edge, Backbone, Data Center) - covering new builds, tech modifications, upgrades, and infrastructure operations.
- Develop detailed project plans, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (vendors, project managers, network configuration teams) to drive project success.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with standards and best practices.
- Communicate project status, issues, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Manage multiple concurrent workstreams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Program Management or Technical Program Management, ideally within network or infrastructure environments.
- Network deployment background - as a PM on network projects or as a network engineer. Hands-on configuration experience not required, but must understand networking concepts end-to-end.
- Familiarity with network routing and switching protocols: BGP, MPLS, RSVP-TE, IS-IS.
- Working knowledge of TCP/UDP, DNS, and IPv4/IPv6 environments.
- Understanding of POP/Colo physical infrastructure and optic types used in 10G/100G/400G networks.
- Demonstrated experience managing programs or projects in data center environments.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to forecast, plan, and translate requirements into actionable deliverables with specific timelines.
- Comfortable working across time zones - flexibility for early morning or late night calls with US West Coast teams is required.
- Must be authorized to work in Singapore.
