Job Summary
You will be working with our client who are well renowned in the public and financial sector. The Program Manager will oversee the replatforming of a critical application across Infrastructure, Application, and Cybersecurity tracks, ensuring coordinated delivery, risk mitigation, and alignment of deliverables. This includes monitoring progress, managing dependencies, consolidating status updates, and driving key decisions through effective stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Ensure overall success of a program, by ensuring that program is delivered on time, within budget, meet business requirements and comply with governance framework, including security and resiliency.
- Manage and monitor plan, program milestones, risk and change management to ensure delivery of the program on schedule, within scope and budget.
- Plan and manage the scope of the program, its objectives and desired outcomes, and ensure alignment of program to the business outcomes of the Authority.
- Lead the development of the overall program schedule & activities based on the appropriate methodology including identifying dependency, critical path, milestones and deliverables.
- Build comprehensive work plan and ensure all team members are on-board with delegated tasks and activities.
- Conduct regular meetings and provide progress and status reports to stakeholders.
- Perform stakeholder management, including keeping the relevant stakeholders informed of the program status on a timely and regular basis.
- Manage processes and procedures covering issue and risk management.
- Manage the program schedule & lead activities towards the successful closure of the program including Performance Guarantee and Warranty Period
- Establishing and maintaining quality standards across all projects, ensuring deliverables meet specified requirements and implementing quality control measures.
- Developing and implementing comprehensive change management plans to support successful adoption of programme outcomes, including training and engagement strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- CITPM (Certified ICT Project Management Programme) or PMP (Project Management Professional) or an equivalent certification will be an added advantage.
- Possess a proven and successful track record in managing large scale program in local Government/ banking and finance domain will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of local Government governance processes will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in project management tools, Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft SharePoint
- Proficiency in JIRA and Atlassian suite for project tracking and team collaboration
- Good understanding of Waterfall/Agile methodologies
