Basic Salary: $4500 - $6000

About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Program Engineer to lead the seamless execution and transfer of new programs into our manufacturing operations. You will be the central hub between our customers, business development, and production teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is critical in driving business growth and upholding our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Program & Project Management:
- Lead cross-functional project teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing) through the entire program lifecycle, from initial award to stable production.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking milestones, budgets, and critical path activities to ensure on-schedule and on-budget delivery.
- Plan and execute tooling qualification and validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) in coordination with supporting groups.
Customer & Technical Leadership:
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, managing communication and resolving strategic or complex technical issues.
- Translate customer requirements into clear engineering specifications and production concepts.
Business Development Support:
- Actively support business development initiatives by providing technical expertise for new quotations, particularly for projects involving new tooling.
- Collaborate with the BD manager to generate accurate and competitive project quotes.
Production Optimisation & Process Development:
- Partner with the manufacturing team to develop, establish, and optimise workflows, production layouts, and concepts to maximise efficiency and meet customer quality requirements.
- Identify and specify engineering requirements for new projects and equipment, working closely with the Purchasing department.
Health & Safety:
- Champion a culture of safety by taking reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of others.
- Adhere to all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures and actively participate in EHS initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management, project engineering, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience managing projects for healthcare/medical products is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles (e.g., PMP, Agile, Waterfall) and production processes (e.g., Injection Moulding, Assembly).
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred:
- Understanding of quality systems standards (e.g., ISO 13485, ISO 9001, cGMP).
