Key Responsibilities:- Manage day to day issues including daily health checks of applications and processes, working closely with end users, development staff and infrastructure teams to resolve incidents and/or mitigate outages.
- Perform in-depth analysis of production problems, identifies root causes and recommends solutions to resolve application malfunctions and prevent recurrence.
- Ensure all incidents, incidents and changes are progressed efficiently and effectively to meet application service levels
- Help in identifying, coordinating, and implementing initiatives/projects that promotes efficiency and optimization of daily processes
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve system efficiency and/or availability
- The role is part of an on-call support team (on-rotation basis) that ensures production stability.
Skills :
- Expert knowledge and experience in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS, MQ Series, Ezytrieve
- Expert knowledge and use of Mainframe tools such as; Endevor, File-Aid, Control-M
