Job Summary
You will supervise Operators on a permanent night shift, managing production activities to achieve goals in efficiency, quality, and cost while fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet efficiency and quality standards
- Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing to achieve production targets
- Apply lean manufacturing principles, including Kaizen and 6S, to optimize workflow and reduce waste
- Lead and motivate a team of Manufacturing Specialists to promote teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Coach and develop team members to enhance skills, performance, and discipline
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and deliver constructive feedback
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
Required competencies and certifications
- Willingness to perform permanent night shift (essential for role)
- Proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (essential for effective team leadership)
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma in Engineering or relevant disciplines
