Job Overview

The Production Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the production team in a Chinese traditional kuih manufacturing environment. The supervisor will ensure smooth preparation and production of traditional kuih while maintaining product quality, hygiene standards, and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily production activities of traditional Chinese kuih.

• Ensure the quality and consistency of products such as Ang Ku Kuih, Soon Kueh, Chai Kueh, Peng Kueh, Huat Kueh, and Sesame Balls.

• Manage and guide production workers during preparation, cooking, and packaging.

• Ensure all staff follow food hygiene and safety standards.

• Monitor production schedules to ensure orders are completed on time.

• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the production area and equipment.

• Check and manage ingredients, stock levels, and supplies.

• Provide training and supervision to production staff when required.

• Report production issues and suggest improvements to management.

Job Requirements

• Experience in food production, bakery, or traditional kuih preparation is preferred.

• Ability to supervise and manage a small production team.

• Able to work in a fast-paced food production environment.

• Knowledge of Chinese traditional kuih production is an advantage.

• Responsible, organized, and able to maintain production quality.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long hours during production.

• Able to work in a kitchen or food manufacturing environment.

This role is important in ensuring the quality, consistency, and authenticity of Chinese traditional kuih production.
