Job Title: Production Supervisor (Mala Sauce Factory)
Job Description
- Daily Operations: Oversee and coordinate daily manufacturing activities on the food production floor to ensure mala sauce products (such as hotpot soup bases, chili oils, and seasonings) are blended, cooked, and packed efficiently to meet daily output targets
- Quality & Food Safety: Enforce strict compliance with food safety regulations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and hygiene standards.
- Manpower Allocation: Plan and manage shift schedules, line rosters, and manpower allocation to optimize production efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Recipe & Consistency Control: Supervise the batching, weighing, and mixing processes to ensure strict adherence to precise mala sauce recipes, maintaining consistency in flavor, spice levels, and quality standards.
- Inventory & Yield Management: Monitor raw material usage, track material call-offs, control production waste/loss, and ensure inventory data is accurately recorded.
- Equipment Maintenance: Monitor machinery utilization, perform basic troubleshooting, and coordinate with the maintenance planner for timely equipment servicing to minimize line disruptions.
- Staff Training: Conduct on-the-job training for new production operators and line leaders regarding equipment handling, safety hazards, and hygiene practices.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and complete production logs, batch records, output tracking sheets, and quality control reports.Requirements
- No education restrictions (open to all educational backgrounds).
- Relevant supervisory or hands-on experience in food manufacturing, central kitchens, or sauce processing plants is preferred.
- Ability to work in a warm production floor environment and occasionally handle or lift raw materials/ingredients (up to 15-20kg).
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards (such as GMP, HACCP, or ISO 22000) is a major advantage.
- Excellent leadership, team-management, and problem-solving skills to handle production bottlenecks on the spot.
- Willingness to work on rotating shifts or flexible hours according to the production schedule if required.
