- Lead and motivate the production team to meet operational schedules and customer requirements.
- Manage employee development through recruitment, training, coaching, and performance reviews.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment by enforcing 6S standards.
- Oversee daily production planning, machine utilization, and capacity management.
- Support Lean/Kaizen initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth parts flow and timely issue resolution.
- Accurately update ERP system (e.g., Syteline) and ensure production data integrity.
- Monitor and manage consumable usage, delivery performance, TPM, and OEE metrics.
- Conduct regular cell meetings and toolbox talks to align team on goals and safety practices.
- Promote a positive work environment and manage team discipline and morale effectively.
- Provide direction to team members during the shift and resolve production or quality issues.
- Identify and implement efficiency improvements across operations.
- Manage leave, attendance, overtime planning, and conduct performance reviews in line with company policy.
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters fairly and in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Min Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or precision engineering environment.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Syteline) and Lean Manufacturing tools is added advanatge
- Knowledge of TPM, OEE, 6S, and production planning is added advantage
