Key Responsibilities
. Direct and oversee all aspects of production operations to ensure daily production targets are achieved.
. Ensure all production activities comply with GMP standards and perform quality control (QC) checks on the production line.
. Maintain and ensure all GMP-related production documentation is accurate and up to date.
. Optimize productivity while minimizing labour and material wastage across all stages of the production cycle to support company profitability.
. Drive continuous improvement in productivity for both filling and packing lines.
. Ensure all finished goods meet QC specifications before release to customers.
. Investigate production issues, customer complaints, and failures, and implement appropriate corrective actions.
. Manage production scheduling and planning activities.
. Oversee issuance and closure of work orders via the ERP system.
. Monitor execution of production plans closely and make necessary adjustments as required.
. Develop short-term (3-day firm plan), mid-term (2-week), and monthly rolling production forecasts.
. Provide weekly updates on production planning progress.
. Maintain workplace housekeeping and cleanliness standards.
. Perform machine setup, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance of production equipment.
. Support blending processes and QC activities when required.
. Carry out any other duties as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
. Diploma or Degree in Engineering/Mechanical or equivalent practical experience
. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
. Minimum 2 years of experience in supervisor role
. Knowledge of production processes, equipment, and safety standards.
. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is advantage
. Strong leadership, communication and problem solving skills
. Experience in managing teams and coordinating cross-functional activities.
. Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
