Job Responsibilities
- To lead MICE Technical team in planning, production, and operation in all events.
- To control team's expense budget
- To assist team in achieving yearly target and budget
- Review, manage and plan the upselling of AV/Utility services.
- Work with Event Manager/Sales Manager to provide AV/technical solutions to meet customer expectation on event production.
- To assist with the managing of AV Technical team and Electrical & Plumbing team performance and progression.
- To assist with the managing of SOP, guidelines and department's goal, sustainability, and compliance etc.
- To manage Planning & Production Team schedule/operation
- To plan, design and present AV stage production to client
- Manage and deliver event technical services/audio-visual/ staging production for event technical production assigned.
- To attend/co-ordinate production meetings with customers and internal department
- To prepare and submit technical riders/run down/service orders etc. with costs and estimates for event managers/conference managers and customer acceptance.
- To deliver on site technical services together with in-house production team/vendors/service providers/contractors in accordance with agreements/event orders/service orders etc. for event productions
- Provide on-site support and coordination by using products and services of Marina Bay Sands
- To prepare technical riders for outsourcing of AV services and/or equipment rental and submit to procurement department for sourcing.
- To complete GR (Good Receiving) process on outsourced AV services and/or equipment rental
- To monitor expenses/casual/outside service/rental
- To monitor overall teams performance, progression, SOP and guidelines
- To produce a report on highlights and incidences of an event
Education & Certification
- Nitec in Electrical Technology (Lighting & Sound) or equivalent OR
- Diploma in Audio-Visual Technology or Media Post-Production or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of AV production and technical work coordination experience
- Experience in valuations/operations and AV stage production.
- Proficiency in AV software and CAD
- Able to work in a loud environment and fit to work odd long hours.
- PC literate (Win/Mac)
- Team player
- Independent
