Prepare and manage production schedules, prioritizing job orders to ensure plan versus actual achievements (SAP/Fusion APS).
Review production backlogs and work closely with in-house production, assembly planners, and buyers to resolve overdue orders or implement alternative solutions to meet customer requirements.
Collaborate with operations teams, including engineering and quality assurance, to eliminate quality obstacles and enable smooth production.
Coordinate with MIE and production teams to schedule sample runs and address process improvements.
Oversee raw material and subcon component shortages, liaising with assembly planners to facilitate production recovery and alternative planning.
Manage complex product lines by providing end-to-end services from component planning to finished goods.
Independently engage with customers to address requirements and ensure satisfaction.
Evaluate capacity requirements versus availability for assigned product lines, identifying deviations and recommending adjustments or capacity expansions as needed.
Support GS&OP monthly cadence, ensuring accurate work center maintenance and optimizing available capacities (OEE/POEE performance tracking).
Align delivery schedules with lead time requirements to achieve delivery goals.
Control inventory levels by minimizing surplus, slow-moving, and excess inventories, while preventing under-stocking to maintain delivery commitments.
Update and maintain material master views for new and existing parts and coordinate clean-up of obsolete (OBS) parts.
Analyze capacity alerts, inventory levels, and exception reports, categorizing slow-moving stock and providing scrap or disposal recommendations as necessary.
Support lean projects, new system development, and plant product pruning initiatives for better machine utilization.
Liaise with QA and shipping departments to execute shipments, ensuring billing and customer shipment targets are met.
