Production Planner

Production Planning Specialist

A leading multinational medical device manufacturer is expanding its Supply Chain team and is looking to appoint a Production Planning Specialist to support its Singapore manufacturing operations.

This role offers broad exposure across production planning, inventory management, demand forecasting and manufacturing execution while working within a highly collaborative and quality-driven environment.

The Role

You'll play a critical role in ensuring production schedules align with customer demand while maintaining optimal inventory levels across manufacturing operations. Working closely with multiple internal stakeholders, you'll contribute towards operational excellence through effective planning, data analysis and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage production schedules for finished goods and sub-assemblies.

• Analyse demand forecasts and optimise inventory availability.

• Utilise ERP/MRP planning systems to support manufacturing operations.

• Collaborate with Customer Service, Manufacturing, Procurement and Warehouse teams to ensure timely product availability.

• Review planning parameters and improve planning accuracy.

• Monitor operational KPIs including inventory performance, customer service levels and backorders.

• Participate in continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience in production planning, supply chain planning or manufacturing planning.

• Strong knowledge of Oracle, SAP or similar ERP/MRP systems.

• Excellent planning, analytical and organisational skills.

• Experience working within manufacturing environments.

• Ability to communicate effectively across multiple business functions.
