Production Operator

Job Summary

Support daily production activities to meet output and quality targets in a manufacturing environment while maintaining equipment and workplace cleanliness and reporting issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production activities to achieve target output and maintain quality standards
• Report machine breakdowns or suspected faults promptly to the Production Supervisor for corrective action
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of machines and surrounding work areas to ensure a safe environment
• Monitor product quality during production and notify the Production Supervisor of any defects detected
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks to maintain an organized and safe workspace
• Lift and move materials weighing 15kg to 22kg on an ad hoc basis to support production needs
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and support team goals
• Work overtime as required to meet production demands
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum education qualification: PSLE, lower secondary, N Level, or ITE certificate
• Physical fitness to perform manual tasks and handle materials weighing up to 22kg

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Technical qualification related to manufacturing or production processes
• Previous working experience in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated initiative, drive, and commitment as a team player
