Production Operator

Principal Accountabilities

Safety

. Perform work in accordance to safety requirements at all times.

. Ensure all Safety-guards are in placed before operating equipment

Operational

• Operate equipment in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs)
• Perform setup and configuration of equipment to work-on film and paper product reels
• Perform proper recording of product information before and after processing
• Perform visual inspection of product to detect defects as identified by SOP and WIs
• Perform re-work of product as instructed by Leadership
• Perform proper hand-over take-over to/from shift co-workers
• Perform proper sample taking/marking/recording of samples at specific interval per SOP and Work Instructions (WIs)
• Perform proper product packaging per SOP and Work Instructions (WIs)
• Print core labels/pallet labels and ensure proper labelling of reels as per Work Instructions (WIs)
• Perform equipment maintenance as per Work Instructions (WIs)
• Notify Leadership/QA Engineer if any additional defects found
• Ensure General 5S housekeeping of work area / machine cleaning
• Move and Feed production material per Work Instructions (WIs)

Others

. To help-out in other areas of production such as Finished Goods Packing and Retrieving of Materials from the Warehouse as and when needed.
