Principal Accountabilities
Safety
. Perform work in accordance to safety requirements at all times.
. Ensure all Safety-guards are in placed before operating equipment
Operational
- Operate equipment in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs)
- Perform setup and configuration of equipment to work-on film and paper product reels
- Perform proper recording of product information before and after processing
- Perform visual inspection of product to detect defects as identified by SOP and WIs
- Perform re-work of product as instructed by Leadership
- Perform proper hand-over take-over to/from shift co-workers
- Perform proper sample taking/marking/recording of samples at specific interval per SOP and Work Instructions (WIs)
- Perform proper product packaging per SOP and Work Instructions (WIs)
- Print core labels/pallet labels and ensure proper labelling of reels as per Work Instructions (WIs)
- Perform equipment maintenance as per Work Instructions (WIs)
- Notify Leadership/QA Engineer if any additional defects found
- Ensure General 5S housekeeping of work area / machine cleaning
- Move and Feed production material per Work Instructions (WIs)
Others
. To help-out in other areas of production such as Finished Goods Packing and Retrieving of Materials from the Warehouse as and when needed.
. Other Ad hoc assignments
