About the Role
This is a full-time position within the shift team, reporting to the Team Leader or Manufacturing Assistant. The role supports day-to-day manufacturing activities, including equipment set-up, troubleshooting, and machine maintenance. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of manufacturing equipment used to produce BD medical products.
Position: Production Operator.
What you'll do:
- Operate machines to meet daily production targets while ensuring high quality and low waste.
- Carry out routine machine maintenance such as cleaning, servicing, and part replacement.
- Troubleshoot machine issues to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards.
- Handle product and machine changeovers, including tool and die adjustments.
- Support improvements by contributing ideas and helping implement machine upgrades.
- Create simple work instructions to guide others on processes.
- Take action to prevent or correct issues (Corrective & Preventive Actions).
Team & Support Tasks
- Join department activities like Kaizen, safety programs, and team-building.
- Participate in daily shift meetings to review team performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Carry out other tasks assigned by supervisors.
Job Requirements:
- Open to candidates with N Level / GCE O Level / Nitec.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing industry / environment.
- Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts (day/night).
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Singaporean (s) and Permanent Residents (PRs) preferred.
