Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning & Scheduling Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand while minimizing costs. Coordinate with procurement and logistics for timely material availability.
- Resource Management Allocate staff, equipment, and materials effectively. Manage inventory levels to avoid understocking or overstocking.
- Quality Control & Assurance Ensure products meet quality standards through inspections and corrective actions.
- Budget & Cost Management Monitor production budgets, implement cost-saving measures, and track expenses.
- Team Supervision & Leadership Oversee production staff, set productivity goals, enforce safety standards, and resolve workflow issues.
- Problem-Solving & Continuous Improvement Identify bottlenecks, adapt to supply chain disruptions, and introduce new technologies or processes to improve efficiency.
