Production Manager Steel Structure Fabrication

. Plan,organise and manage daily steel structure fabrication and production activities.
. Develop production schedules and monitor progress to meet project deadlines.
. Lead and supervise fabrication, welding, fitting and assembly teams.
. Coordinate manpower, materials, machinery and equipment for production activities.
. Review structural and fabrication drawings,specifications and project requirements.
. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, site teams,suppliers and subcontractors.
. Monitor fabrication quality and ensure works comply with approved drawings and specifications.
. Identify and resolve production, quality and technical issues.
. Monitor material consumption and minimise material wastage and production costs.
. Ensure proper use and maintenance of fabrication machinery and equipment.
. Prepare and maintain production schedules, progress reports and related documentation.
. Implement measures to improve production efficiency,productivity and workflow.
. Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements and company procedures.
. Provide technical guidance and training to production staff where required.
. Minimum 8years of relevant experience in steel structure fabrication, structural steel production.
. Proven experience managing steel fabrication workshop or production operations.
. Strong knowledge of steel cutting, welding, fitting, drilling, assembly and fabrication processes.
. Able to read and interpret structural drawings, fabrication drawings and technical specifications.
. Good knowledge of production planning, quality control, manpower planning and workplace safety.
. Strong leadership, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
. Able to manage production schedules and meet project deadlines.
. Relevant Singapore construction or steel fabrication experience will be an advantage.
. Candidate must possess a relevant Steel Structure certification and have successfully completed the SSSS course.
