WHAT YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
This role will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily production operations in the Singapore site.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Oversee and manage daily production operations to ensure adherence to production schedules and ATP (Available-to-Promise) commitments.
- Utilize SAP (MRP) for production planning, material requirements, and inventory control.
- Implement and monitor Managing Daily Instructions (MDI) processes to maintain operational discipline and performance tracking.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with SQCDP (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People) metrics.
- Enforce 5S principles to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workplace.
- Lead structured problem-solving activities to resolve production issues and prevent recurrence.
- Manage manpower allocation effectively to optimize productivity and meet output targets.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) standards.
- Promote and implement Lean and Mean Manufacturing practices to eliminate waste, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least a Degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in chemical batch manufacturing processes operations.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.
MANDATORY CERTIFICATIONS:
- BizSAFE Level 2 certification.
- Work-at-Height Supervisor level or above.
- Confined Space Assessor certification.
- Site Incident Controller qualification.
OTHER INFORMATION:
- 5-work days per week with high degree of flexibility and availability, often including on-call responsibilities for nights, weekends, and emergencies.
