Job Description

  • Position: Chief Executive Officer (Asia Region)

  • Location: Tuas (walking distance from Tuas Crescent MRT)

  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8am - 5pm)

  • Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $20,000 + Performance Bonus + Staff Benefits

  • Duration: Permanent

  • Industry: Professional hygiene consumables

Main Responsibilities:

  • Takes a leadership role in establishing and developing the company's culture and values in liaison with the Board

  • Ensure that there is a fit between the culture, ethics and values of the organization, its strategy and the company's structure, policies and procedures

  • Chair executive management team / staff meetings

  • Manage, motivate, develop and lead members of the executive management and staff

  • Manage resources efficiently and effectively to achieve the company's objectives

  • Ensure effective management of human resources including recruitment, supervision and development

  • Maintain the organization's policies, ensuring they are up to date, consistent, approved by the Board and implemented effectively

  • Facilitate the development of the strategy, annual business plans and supporting budgets approval by the Board

  • Implement the strategic plan and annual business plan

  • Build relationships with the key commercial and other partners and stakeholders

  • Keep abreast of market and industry trends that have the capacity to impact the company

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation

  • To approve IMS (ISO 9001, 14001), BizSafe, HALAL (MUIS, JAKIM), and all other regulatory documents

  • To make operational decision, value worth in accordance with APPROVAL AUTHORITY LEVELS (OPERATIONAL)

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership skills, Strategic thinking, Adaptability, Strong communication skills and Decisiveness

  • Tertiary education in Sales Management & Chemical Engineering

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 & 14001 internal auditor ( To Become Certified )

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing and General Management

  • Minimum 5 years of Regional Sales exposure

  • Ability to communicate in French will be an advantage for interactions with French-speaking stakeholders
