Job Summary

We are looking for a Production Manager / Section Manager to lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers, Cell Leaders, and Operators in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. The role will be responsible for driving daily production performance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence while ensuring high standards of quality, productivity, and cleanroom discipline.

Mandatory Skill-set

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline
Must have at least 5 years of production / manufacturing management experience
Hands-on experience in people management and team leadership
Strong understanding of production KPIs including output, quality, cost, cycle time, and productivity
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement capabilities.

Desired Skill-set

Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or a high-technology manufacturing environment
Experience working in a cleanroom environment
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and workplace discipline
Experience driving process improvement and operational excellence initiatives
Experience developing and implementing training programmes for production teams.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of Manufacturing Engineers, Cell Leaders, and Operators to achieve production KPIs and business objectives
Monitor and drive daily performance across key areas including output, quality, cost, cycle time, and productivity
Identify process gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency
Develop and execute action plans to address production issues and achieve performance targets
Implement training programmes to strengthen the technical skills and capabilities of the production team
Ensure proper cleanroom cleanliness, housekeeping, and operator discipline are maintained
Collaborate with relevant teams to support production performance and achieve operational excellence.
