Oversee daily production and project operations for fire protection system installations and metal fabrication works.
Plan, coordinate, and monitor production schedules to meet delivery timelines.
Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
Supervise workshop operations involving fabrication, repair, and pressure vessel-related works.
Oversee site operations for installation of fire protection and security alarm systems.
Lead and manage engineers, supervisors, technicians, and production staff.
Provide technical guidance and operational direction to teams.
Conduct performance evaluations and recommend training and development plans.
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
Implement and monitor quality control procedures for fabrication and installation works.
Enforce workplace safety practices in both workshop and site environments.
Coordinate inspections, audits, and certifications where required.
Monitor project budgets, production costs, and operational expenditures.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and safety.
Coordinate with Procurement and Finance departments to ensure proper material planning and inventory control.
Prepare operational reports for Management review.
Develop and implement SOPs to improve operational efficiency.
Identify bottlenecks in production and project workflows and propose corrective actions.
Support Management in strategic planning, expansion, and operational scaling.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or any related field).
Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in construction, fire protection systems, metal fabrication, or related industries.
At least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of fire protection system installation processes, metal fabrication and pressure vessel handling, safety standards and regulatory compliance.
Proven experience in managing workshop operations and/or construction site projects.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Good problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
Proficient in MS Office and project management tools.
