PRODUCTION ENGINEER

Job Scope

The Dredging Production Engineer is responsible for planning, monitoring, and optimizing dredging operations to ensure maximum efficiency, productivity, and compliance with project specifications and safety standards. The role involves close coordination with site teams, technical staff, and project management to achieve production targets.

Responsibilities

. Develop and implement dredging production plans and schedules.

. Monitor daily dredging output and compare against targets.

. Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.

. Optimize dredging parameters such as pump performance, cutter head operation, and slurry transport.

. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.

. Maintain accurate records of dredging volumes, downtime, and equipment performance.

. Use software tools for data analysis and reporting.

. Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.

. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.

Requirements

. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, Technology or related field.

. 5+years of experience in dredging or marine construction.

. Strong understanding of dredging methods (e.g., Cutter Suction Dredger, Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger).

. Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, specialized dredging software).

. Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
