Job Description
- To be responsible for the financial accounting of companies under the Motors Singapore Group.
- Co-ordinate with shared services centre relating to accounting operations including day-to-day finance operations so as to keep proper accounting records and meetreporting requirements on time.
Job Content
Financial accounting
- Prepare monthly closing journal
- Prepare / Review monthly accounts reconciliations and schedules
- Review monthly inventories ageing report for adequate NRV
- Control chart of a/c, review consistency, control a/c creation and archive
- Review stock take reconciliation
- Assist FM in annual policy renewal review
- Audit review support (External and GCAD review)
- Ensure compliance to accounting standards
- Preparing and submit Benefit in Kind (BIK) - Car and Car-related Benefits
- Annual Statutory Accounts, XBRL
GST and Tax
- Review GST submission workings and GST reconciliation test
- Prepare tax & deferred tax computation for accounting provision
- Finalise corporate tax computations for review by HO and tax consultants
Fixed Assets and Capex
- Review and maintain record for capex for new / replacement of fixed asset requisition
- Maintain asset register
- Maintain demo car record for every franchise and prepare costing for demo disposal and registration Capex
IT Matters
- Implement and test new programs developed to ensure that they function correctly based on our requirement.
- Set up parameters and interfaces in GDMS for new models and/ or franchise.
Job Requirement
- Qualifications - Diploma holder in Accounting & Finance with 4 years of working experience or Degree holder in Accounting & Finance with 2 years of working experience
- Good Excel skills
- Able to work in fast-paced environment
