Work with the Production Supervisor and Production Manager in driving process improvements and optimisation to boost productivity and efficiency, while enhancing quality, lead time, on-time delivery, and cost-effectiveness.
Prepare costing for insulations kits, inspection forms, and productivity log sheets.
Interpret drawings and prepare BOM list.
Provide technical support to the Sales team when required.
Manage computer-aided design (CAD) tasks and prepare technical drawings.
Develop and update Work Instructions (Machine & Product) / Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and maintain detailed records of manufacturing processes, changes, and improvements.
Back-up Engineering Assistant to close production orders - SAP administrative tasks.
Supervise, mentor and train Engineering Assistant establish objectives, oversee performance, and encourage growth.
Perform other duties and ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is a requirement.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Able to speak Mandarin to communicate effectively with Chinese workers.
