Working Location: Boon Lay
Working Hours: 6-day work week (48 hours/week, including weekends and public holidays) | Rotating shifts (9am to 6pm / 12pm to 10.30pm)
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and production of assorted pastries and puddings.
- Ensure all products are produced with consistency and in accordance with the manual and the central kitchen processing SOP.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is well-maintained and cleaned according to the food safety standards and procedures.
- Receive, pack and store raw ingredients and finished products according to their required temperature.
- Basic housekeeping of the central kitchen.
- Any ad-hoc duties assigned.
Key Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience as a central kitchen pastry staff or production crew, or pastry chef.
- Able to stand long hours and work in a chilled room (temperature: 15 degrees)
- Ability to read/write in English and Mandarin because the manuals and SOPs are in English and Mandarin.
- Team player, positive and passionate about confectionery.
