Production and Operations Manager #EAT

Primary Responsibilities:

The role is responsible for end-to-end plant and operations management, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality manufacturing and logistics operations. This includes overseeing production planning, inventory control, quality and ISO compliance, trade compliance, and delivery performance to meet customer and business requirements.

The position leads continuous improvement initiatives across workflow, plant layout, equipment utilization, and cost management, while ensuring safety, asset maintenance, and regulatory compliance. It manages budgeting, staffing, talent development, and performance management, and maintains positive employee and union relations where applicable.

Overall, the role drives operational excellence, inventory accuracy, customer service levels, and team capability development in alignment with company objectives.

Job Requirements:

. Diploma or bachelor's degree in industrial management, Engineering or related field

. At least five years of progressive industrial/manufacturing experience

. Understanding of workflow design, process layouts and capital equipment optimization

. Solid presentation and negotiation skills with ability to present technical information and concepts to initiate change and drive initiatives

. Excellent project management skills, including the identification and scheduling of project deliverables, milestones, tasks, and deadlines

. Knowledge of/experience with LEAN or Six Sigma
