Product Technologist Principal Engineer

Our Product Technologists play an essential role in creating technologies that drive human progress. Using our in-depth product knowledge, we provide pre-sales technical expertise for the development and implementation of complex products, applications and solutions. We're relied upon to deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations to sales staff and customers and provide technical input into bid proposals. What you'll achieve

As a Product Technologist Principle Engineer, you will provide presales technical expertise for the development and implementation of complex products/applications/solutions. Use in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales staff and the customer through sales presentations and product demonstrations.

You will:

  • Lead customer workshops, envisioning sessions, and executive briefings on Windows 11, security, deployment modernization, and AI-powered work.
  • Build trusted relationships with IT and business decision-makers, aligning technology to business priorities.
  • Deliver presentations and demos showcasing the value of Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Intune/modern management, security, and Copilot on Dell devices.
  • Design Windows-based client solutions (image strategy, security baselines, Autopilot/Intune readiness, integration with existing environments).
  • Plan and execute POCs/pilots (e.g., Windows 11, Modern Work, Copilot) with clear success criteria, test plans, and outcome tracking.
  • Support RFP/RFI technical responses covering Windows, deployment, security, manageability, and Modern Work requirements. Plan and deliver Microsoft-funded engagements (workshops, assessments, pilots) and ensure documentation, reporting, QBRs, and audits meet program KPIs and governance standards
  • Act as the technical link between Dell sales teams and Microsoft field/partner teams for Commercial Windows and Modern Work opportunities. Enable internal teams through training, sales tools/content, and deal coaching to increase attach, deal value, and win rates.

Essential Requirements:

  • 8–12 years of experience in pre‑sales, solution architecture, or modern workplace/endpoint roles.
  • Deep expertise in Windows, Microsoft 365, Modern Work, and security/management.
  • Proven ability to understand customer technical requirements and shape practical solutions and pilots.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree .
