Job Description

Job Summary

The Product Specialist plays a critical role in delivering commercial growth across Singapore's expanding specialty portfolio. The incumbent will drive sales performance, enhance customer coverage, accelerate launch uptake, and strengthen engagement with key healthcare stakeholders. By executing territory strategies and identifying growth opportunities, the role will directly contribute to market expansion, business performance, and the successful delivery of SciGen's commercial objectives.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets and drive business growth within the assigned territory.
  • Develop new business opportunities while growing existing customer accounts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with HCPs, KOLs, hospitals, pharmacies, and procurement stakeholders.
  • Execute territory and account plans to maximize product uptake and commercial performance.
  • Support product launches, formulary access, and tender execution.
  • Conduct effective scientific and commercial product discussions with customers.
  • Maintain agreed customer coverage and engagement standards.
  • Gather market intelligence on customer needs, competitors, and business opportunities.
  • Prepare timely sales forecasts, CRM updates, and business reports.
  • Maintain strong product, disease, and market knowledge.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, Nursing, Business or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience covering public hospital & private specialist accounts
  • Experienced in oncology, endocrinology, critical care, or specialty pharmaceutical products.
  • Understanding of tender processes and institutional account management.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
  • Good command of English, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Computer literacy in Excel, Word, MS Office is a must.
