Job Description
Product / Project Managers - Internal Platforms & Infrastructure Delivery | Global Technology Group
Our client, an established global technology group, is growing its infrastructure team in Singapore. Opportunities are available for professionals who can turn operational needs into useful digital products or bring infrastructure projects successfully into service.
1. Product Manager – Internal Platforms & Automation
This role focuses on creating in-house platforms that simplify how infrastructure and engineering teams work. You will take ownership of new products, from understanding users challenges to launching solutions and improving them over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Explore how teams work today and identify processes that would benefit from digitalisation or automation.
- Shape product proposals, prepare PRDs, and establish a practical development roadmap.
- Guide new internal tools from initial concept to a working product, partnering closely with developers.
- Weigh user needs, technical effort, and business value when deciding what to build next.
- Review usage and user feedback to assess whether each release delivers meaningful improvements.
- Keep stakeholders engaged and resolve questions that affect product direction or delivery.
Requirements
- A relevant degree in computing, engineering, information systems, or a similar discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in product management, technical business analysis, or a comparable role.
- A track record of taking internal applications or enterprise tools from an initial idea through to launch.
- Confidence in turning loosely defined business needs into specifications developers can work with.
- Initiative, sound analytical thinking, and the ability to lead work independently.
- Exposure to integrations, APIs, application design, or automation would be beneficial.
2. Project Manager – Technology Infrastructure Delivery
This role brings together the people, plans, and resources needed to deliver infrastructure initiatives. Multiple vacancies are available, covering different technical areas and levels of experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish what each project needs to achieve and agree on delivery expectations with the teams involved.
- Develop workable schedules that account for equipment availability, supplier commitments, and technical dependencies.
- Bring together engineering specialists and vendors to progress implementation and address delays.
- Anticipate delivery risks and organise the decisions or corrective actions needed to keep work moving.
- Plan deployment activities with the relevant teams, including testing, service readiness, and contingency arrangements.
- Ensure completed solutions are accepted, documented, and transferred to the teams responsible for ongoing operations.
- Provide clear updates that help stakeholders understand progress, outstanding issues, and available options.
Requirements
- A relevant degree in engineering or technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 1 year of involvement in delivering technology or infrastructure projects.
- Practical project exposure to one or more areas such as data centres, server systems, storage, networking, cloud, or GPU infrastructure.
- An organised approach to schedules, suppliers, project changes, and delivery risks.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to coordinate people across different functions.
- The ability to discuss technical delivery matters clearly with both specialist and business audiences.
For both positions, proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred to support communication with English- and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
