Job Summary

We're looking for a Product Owner Payments to support our team in Singapore. This role drives the strategy, design, and delivery of payment features across a complex, high-volume environment. You will define roadmap priorities, translate business needs into actionable requirements, and partner with engineering, compliance, operations, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and user-centric payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for the payments track.

Shape product strategy using market trends, regulatory updates, and customer needs.

Gather, document, and refine functional and non-functional requirements.

Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value and technical feasibility.

Maintain and groom the product backlog; ensure clarity and alignment with engineering.

Define user stories and acceptance criteria; ensure deliverables meet quality standards.

Work with engineering, design, compliance, operations, and business teams to deliver payment features on schedule and within budget.

Ensure alignment with global and regional regulatory frameworks (PSD2, PCI DSS, AML).

Monitor key performance metrics and apply data insights for continuous improvement.

Identify optimization opportunities to improve product performance and customer satisfaction.

Ensure robust understanding of payment methods, gateway operations, integrations, APIs, and settlement processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.

Minimum 7 years as a Product Owner/Product Manager in payments or fintech.

Strong understanding of payment gateways, payment operations, and processing ecosystems.

Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence).

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

Familiarity with card payments, e-wallets, bank transfers, and settlement flows.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements governing payment systems (PSD2, PCI DSS).

Solid communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical teams.

Experience in fast-paced, Agile environments; startup/entrepreneurial exposure is a plus.

Gaming or e-commerce experience is an added advantage.
