Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements
- Gather and translate business needs into clear user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria
- Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and prioritization within an Agile delivery environment
- Work closely with business and technology stakeholders as the key liaison to manage expectations and dependencies
- Monitor project deliverables to ensure timely and successful delivery of digital initiatives
- Review business processes to identify opportunities for improvements and new solution features
- Oversee UAT, production releases, and guide the tech squad (developers, QA) to ensure solutions meet business needs
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate should have:
- At least 3-5 years experience as a Product Owner within the insurance industry
- Proven track record delivering enhancements and features on digital platforms
- Strong experience collaborating with cross-functional business stakeholders
- Solid analytical and conceptual thinking with the ability to translate business needs into solutions
- Able to thrive in fast-paced environments with a proactive and adaptable mindset
- Detail-oriented with a solution-driven attitude and strong willingness to learn
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field Agile certifications and experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence or Figma are advantageous
