Business Analysis & Product Ownership
- Act as an assistant business lead and assistant business analyst for the Wealth segment.
- Define acceptance criteria based on business value, technical feasibility, and alignment with strategic priorities.
- Maintain a well-groomed product backlog, ensuring clarity, prioritization, and completeness.
- Work closely with Agile development teams to provide clarifications, refine user stories, and ensure shared understanding of product vision and sprint goals.
- Provide delivery status updates, gather feedback, and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop working relationships and maintain effective communication with stakeholders across multiple departments.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in specific areas of the wealth management business.
Key Accountabilities
- Plan, prioritize, and execute change initiatives for the Avaloq Wealth platform, covering end-to-end processes and booking channels.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of system enhancements.
- Co-manage the product backlog with Product Owners and champion continuous improvement within the Avaloq environment.
- Respond to production functional queries and provide user training where required.
- Manage and process BAU (Business-As-Usual) operational requests raised by business users.
Change Management
- Coordinate and execute change management activities, including user training, preparation of user guides, manuals, and workflow documentation.
- Perform systematic analysis of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and deliver improvements through structured project implementation.
Requirement:
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Ownership, or related roles within Wealth Management, Private Banking, or Financial Services.
- Experience supporting or working with Avaloq or other core banking/wealth platforms (advantageous).
- Hands-on experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
- Ability to write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
- Skilled in analysing business processes, identifying gaps, and proposing solutions.
- Comfortable handling BAU requests, production issues, and system functional queries.
- Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Excel, and workflow documentation tools.
