Product Owner

Our client in the payments space is looking for Product Owner to help build and scale a global card issuing platform powering embedded financial products. You'll own end-to-end product delivery for card issuing infrastructure, working closely with engineering, compliance, risk, and commercial teams, as well as external partners like issuer processors and card networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of card issuing features (issuance, lifecycle, transactions, controls)
• Integrate with issuer processors and network partners
• Define APIs, product specs, and system requirements for engineering
• Translate scheme rules and compliance needs into product design
• Build and maintain spend controls, card rules, and programme configurations
• Support go-to-market teams on enterprise issuing solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years in product roles with exposure to card issuing or payments infrastructure
• Strong understanding of card lifecycle (auth, clearing, settlement, disputes)
• Comfortable working with APIs and technical teams
• Ability to translate regulatory/technical requirements into product execution
• Strong ownership, execution mindset, and ability to operate in ambiguity
