Our client, a well-established asset management firm is seeking for a Product Operations Specialist to support the end-to-end lifecycle of investment products and fund offerings, ensuring efficient product setup, smooth operational execution, and ongoing governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle of investment funds, from structuring and launch to ongoing maintenance and eventual closure
- Coordinate new fund launches, including VCC structures, offshore funds, and managed accounts, working closely with investment, legal, compliance, and service providers
- Manage product onboarding processes, ensuring accurate setup across internal systems, platforms, and external distributors
- Maintain and update fund documentation, including prospectuses, fact sheets, term sheets, and regulatory filings
- Work closely with portfolio managers and investment teams to ensure fund strategies are accurately reflected in operational workflows
- Ensure ongoing compliance with fund mandates, investment guidelines, and regulatory requirements (e.g., MAS)
- Monitor product performance reporting workflows, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of NAV, factsheets, and investor reporting
- Liaise with fund administrators, custodians, auditors, and transfer agents to ensure smooth operational execution
- Support product governance processes, including periodic reviews, change management, and product rationalisation
- Drive process improvements and automation across product operations to improve efficiency and scalability
- Resolve operational issues and trade/product discrepancies, escalating where necessary
- Support distribution teams with product-related queries and onboarding of institutional/intermediary clients
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related discipline
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in product operations, fund operations, or investment operations within asset management or fund management firms
- Knowledge of end-to-end fund lifecycle and operational processes
- Familiarity with trade lifecycle, NAV processes, and fund accounting concepts
