Your Role

Mighty Jaxx is seeking a Product Marketing Specialist to develop and execute product marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness, foster deeper fan engagement, and drive measurable business growth. Reporting to the Head of Brand & Marketing, you will work cross-functionally with product, licensing, sales and creative teams to create compelling product narratives and go-to-market plans.

You will be instrumental in crafting product positioning, developing launch playbooks, and equipping e-commerce and retail channels with the right collateral to deliver seamless and impactful rollouts.

Responsibilities

Product Marketing Strategy & Positioning

  • Define and implement product marketing strategies that deliver both brand awareness and commercial results (engagement uplift, sell-through, ROI).
  • Craft compelling messaging that translates product features into fan-driven benefits, ensuring Mighty Jaxx stands out in a competitive collectibles market.
  • Manage cross-functional initiatives to align product, licensing, sales, and creative teams around one cohesive narrative.
  • Establish structured performance tracking dashboards (ROI, CAC, conversion rates) and use insights to refine strategies and product offerings.

Go-To-Market & Channel Enablement

  • Develop and execute repeatable GTM playbooks for product launches, including campaign planning and channel-specific activation.
  • Provide channel enablement kits for e-commerce specialists, distributors, and retailers - including product descriptions, high-res images, creative assets, FAQs, and campaign copy - to ensure consistent and effective rollouts across platforms.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify positioning opportunities and ensure launches remain differentiated and relevant.
  • Test and launch innovative fan-driven initiatives (e.g., influencer collaborations, gamification, AR/UGC campaigns), scaling those that prove ROI-positive.

Innovation & Experimentation

  • Explore and test new marketing ideas, fostering a culture of creativity and experimentation.
  • Identify emerging trends and consumer insights to inform future marketing strategies.
  • Drive continuous improvement in marketing campaigns through data-driven decision-making and iterative testing.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with a dynamic content strategy team, setting clear KPIs and providing guidance to drive performance.
  • Work closely with key cross-functional partners to ensure brand strategies align with sales strategies and communications.
  • Champion a collaborative marketing culture that integrates input from sales, creative, and product teams for cohesive brand storytelling.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in product marketing, content strategy, or related roles, with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing products - experience in the collectibles or toy industry is a plus.
  • Experience and knowledge in digital marketing campaigns across social media, paid ads, SEO/SEM, and email marketing.
  • Data-driven approach, with strong analytical skills to interpret market data, consumer insights, and performance metrics to refine marketing strategies.
  • Strong communication skills, with exceptional writing and verbal abilities, and proficiency in creating impactful and visually compelling presentations.
  • Strategic mindset, with demonstrated expertise in developing content that aligns with business objectives and strengthens brand narratives.
  • Strong project management skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to execute and present complex initiatives seamlessly.
  • Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to innovate and adapt strategies in response to evolving market trends.
  • Highly organised, with outstanding time management and scheduling capabilities to manage multiple projects concurrently and deliver high-quality work within deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and effective execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging opportunities.
  • Industry and product knowledge, including familiarity with brand collaborations and the collectibles or toy sector, is an advantage.
