Job Description

I. Market Research and Demand Analysis

  1. Industry Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of snack industry trends and competitor dynamics.
  2. Consumer Research: Regularly carry out surveys to understand consumer preferences and identify innovation opportunities and solutions.
  3. Segment Monitoring: Track emerging segments such as healthy snacks and regional specialties to develop differentiated strategies.

II. End-to-End Product Selection Management

  1. Planning Phase: Develop product plans.
  2. Selection Phase: Stay attuned to market trends and oversee key product indicators such as appearance, taste, and packaging.
  3. Testing Phase: Organize tasting sessions and tests, and optimize products based on feedback.
  4. Launch Phase: Develop launch plans, including channels, promotions, and marketing collaborations.

III. Product Lifecycle Management

  1. Sales Tracking: Monitor sales data and user feedback.
  2. Strategy Development: Formulate iteration and launch strategies, and manage product portfolio combinations.

IV. Cross-Departmental Collaboration

  1. Supply Chain: Define requirements, secure cooperation agreements, and coordinate procurement and production schedules.
  2. Marketing Team: Provide product selling points and marketing materials.
  3. SFA (Sales Force Automation): Ensure products comply with regulations and standards.

Job Requirements

I. Education Background and Experience

  1. Required: Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. Preferred: 3+ years of experience as a product manager in the FMCG industry, with a proven track record of successful product launches.

II. Core Skills

  1. Market Insight: Proficient in using data analysis tools.
  2. Project Management: Familiar with project management tools and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  3. Cost Control: Basic financial knowledge to optimize production costs.
  4. Industry Knowledge: Understanding of food processing, packaging material properties, agricultural product growth characteristics, and industry standards.

III. Soft Skills

  • Passion for the Industry: Deep interest in the food industry.
  • User-Centric Mindset: Strive for the perfect balance between snack taste and packaging design.
  • Communication Skills: Excel in cross-departmental collaboration and clearly convey requirements.
  • Resilience: Adapt to a fast-paced work environment and handle unexpected challenges.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platform operations and experience in creating hit products.
  • In-depth understanding of consumer psychology in niche segments.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with supply chain resources.
