Role Description
A Product Manager / Product Owner / Product Lead drives the strategy, development, and success of products throughout their lifecycle. This role acts as a bridge between business, engineering, and design teams to ensure products meet customer needs, business goals, and market demands.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on market research and business goals
- Gather and prioritize product requirements from stakeholders, customers, and market insights
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and marketing teams to deliver product features
- Monitor product performance, metrics, and KPIs to guide improvements
- Conduct competitor analysis, market research, and user testing
- Manage the product backlog and ensure clear communication of priorities
- Lead product launches and coordinate cross-functional teams
- Identify opportunities for innovation and product enhancements
- Ensure products are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards
Qualifications
Typical qualifications for these roles include:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 38 years of experience in product management, product ownership, or related roles
- Experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum, or Kanban
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Familiarity with product management tools (Jira, Confluence, Aha!, Trello)
