Act as the payment product owner for Retail and Corporate transfer.
Lead and drive the end-to-end product development for Retail and Corporate payment products from ideation, design, technical development, testing and rollout to post-launch improvements and iterations.
Lead product discovery, requirement gathering, and development cycles with cross-functional squads.
Act as a Payments SME, staying on top of industry trends, regulatory changes (e.g ISO 20022), and competitor offerings.
Collaborate with design, engineering, QA, and data teams to deliver robust, scalable, and high-performing solutions.
Ensure products meet all regulatory and security standards.
Effectively manage stakeholder expectations and project timelines. Develop detailed project plans, track and monitor progress and manage project risks.
Be the focal point for all stakeholders nearly in all functions i.e (Operations, finance, business, AML, compliance etc).
Define and track key product metrics, including payment success rate, transaction volume, system uptime, and performance.
Create detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), outlining business workflows, technical specifications, and edge case handling.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field
Product management experience in the payments domain (banking or fintech) is preferred.
Strong understanding of backend payment processing, API-based channel integration, edge case handling, and industry protocols
Deep knowledge of digital banking platforms, payment infrastructure, and Southeast Asia's digital payment landscape (Indonesia/Philippines a plus)
Proven ability to build user-centric products
Proficient with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in fast-paced environments
Strong ownership mindset, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to bridge business and technology, working hands-on with technical teams (APIs, system architecture, etc.)
