Overview
Our client, a leading global financial services firm, is seeking a Product Manager to own and deliver key IM capabilities across the front, middle, and back office of their international marketing business.
This role blends strategic product ownership with hands-on delivery, acting as the bridge between Traders, Sales Managers, Operations, and Technology. You will drive the discovery, definition, and delivery of technology and process enhancements that create real commercial impact in a fast-paced global environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the product roadmap for risk and compliance systems supporting Marketing IM.
- Gather, prioritise, and refine requirements from risk, compliance, and trading stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into clear product specifications and delivery plans.
- Partner with engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions for risk reporting, P&L attribution, and compliance.
- Drive adoption of tools such as real-time dashboards, risk monitoring, and scenario analysis platforms.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to enhance and integrate commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) risk platforms.
Essential Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of product management or business analysis experience in commodities or capital markets.
- Hands-on experience with ETRM, CTRM, or trading platforms.
- Strong track record working with front-office users in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficient in SQL, Excel, and dashboarding tools with strong analytical skills.
- Solid understanding of risk concepts (market, credit, liquidity, operational).
