Today, the Singapore AI Solutions Team is seeking a Product Manager to join a dynamic and multi-disciplinary team with an entrepreneurial mindset to lead the evolution of an AI-powered Revenue Growth Management product that helps L'Oreal business teams make better promotion and commercial investment decisions.

Based in Singapore, The Product Manager will be responsible for managing and developing a complex AI product, defining the product strategy, setting the product vision, and ensuring the successful execution of product initiatives. He/She will be involved in various aspects of the product lifecycle, including conducting research, gathering user insights, defining product requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and prioritizing feature development. He/She will work closely with various stakeholders across the L'Oréal organization to align product goals with business objectives and ensure that the product meets the needs of the target. In addition to strategic responsibilities, the Product Manager will also be involved in tactical activities such as conducting competitive analysis, monitoring product performance, user feedback, and making data-driven decisions to drive product improvements.

Strong leadership, communication, collaboration and analytical skills are essential for this role, as the Product Manager will effectively guide and collaborate with teams, influence decision-making, and drive innovation within the organization.

Key responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Ownership

  • Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap and prioritization for the Product.
  • Translate business problems and customer needs into product requirements and scalable solutions.
  • Define product success metrics and drive adoption and business impact.
  • Apply core product management practices across discovery, prioritization, delivery and lifecycle management
  • Drive change management to support effective product use across Commercial and RGM teams

RGM & Commercial Expertise

Understand and solve CPG/FMCG RGM and commercial problems, including:

  • Promotion & trade promotion
  • Pricing & price-pack architecture
  • Promo ROI and effectiveness
  • Demand, uplift and investment optimization
  • Partner with Commercial & RGM teams to identify high-value opportunities.
  • Translate business challenges into AI/data-driven product capabilities.

AI & Data Product Management

  • Work closely with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Data Engineers and Technology teams.
  • Understand data, ML models, optimization and AI sufficiently to make informed product decisions.
  • Translate AI/ML capabilities into intuitive, actionable business solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage GenAI and Agentic AI within commercial workflows.

Complex Delivery & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead complex, multi-workstream initiatives across Business, Data, Technology and external partners
  • Manage dependencies, risks, priorities and delivery milestones
  • Drive Agile/Scrum delivery through backlog management, sprint planning, reviews and prioritization
  • Manage vendors and technology partners to ensure quality and timely delivery

Operating in Ambiguity

  • Navigate problems where requirements, data or solutions are not clearly defined.
  • Break complex problems into actionable, incremental solutions.
  • Demonstrate a strong find a way to make it work mindset.
  • Make pragmatic trade-offs between business value, technical feasibility and speed.

Cross-Team Collaboration

The role sits at the intersection of Product, AI/Data, RGM and Commerce, requiring strong business acumen alongside the ability to work with Data Science, Technology and external partners. Collaborate across multiple data teams (Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) & Beauty Tech Data & AI) and business departments in markets and zones to ensure a smooth coordination of objectives and alignment of priorities, scoping, and roadmaps.

Communication

Conducting user research through methods such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing, the Product Manager will gather deep insights into user needs, pain points, and preferences. The data collected will drive product decisions, ensuring that user-centric features are developed.

Requirements:

  • AI / Data Product Experience: Experience building or managing AI, ML, analytics or data-driven products
  • CPG/FMCG Experience: Experience working within Commercial, RGM, Sales or Marketing functions
  • RGM Knowledge: Strong understanding of promotion, pricing, trade promotion or related commercial problems
  • Product Management: Strong understanding of product strategy, discovery, prioritization, roadmap, requirements, metrics and product lifecycle
  • Complex Program Management: Experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple dependencies.
  • Agile/Scrum: Hands-on experience working with Agile product and engineering teams
  • Vendor Management: Experience managing external technology, implementation or consulting partners
  • Data & AI Fluency: Ability to understand data, Data Science, ML and GenAI concepts and translate them into business value.
  • Ambiguity & Problem Solving: Comfortable working with unclear requirements and finding practical ways to move forward
  • Self-initiated and with high tolerance for ambiguity, and an ability to create structure
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to thrive in a multi-cultural environment
  • You are proficient when using PowerPoint

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years of experience in product management and/or data analytics domain
  • Experience in setting product vision, driving product roadmap along with data science and engineering teams
  • Experience delivering to executive level audiences and driving alignment across stakeholders
  • Experience in delivery of complex analytical products
  • Ability to drive product development through hybrid teams (internal / vendor across multiple time zones)
  • Industry certifications in Product Ownership and Agile / Scrum is preferred
