About the Role
Octomate is seeking a motivated Product Management Intern to support our product team in developing innovative HR and payroll technology solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, marketing, and customer success to help drive product initiatives and improve user experience.
This internship is ideal for individuals who are curious about product development, enjoy problem-solving, and want exposure to how real digital products are built.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development Support
- Assist in conducting market research, competitor analysis, and user interviews.
- Gather and summarise user insights to support product decisions.
- Support product managers in defining product requirements, user stories, and documentation.
Project Coordination
- Track project progress and flag potential roadblocks.
- Schedule meetings, prepare reports, and maintain project documentation.
- Assist in updating and managing product roadmaps.
User Experience & Insights
- Participate in usability testing and help consolidate findings.
- Analyse user feedback and data to generate actionable recommendations.
- Support the creation of user guides, FAQs, and product-related materials.
Requirements
- Interest in product management, UX research, or data analysis.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Able to think critically and translate user needs into insights.
- Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate across teams.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with basic product or project management concepts is a bonus (e.g., Jira, Notion).
