Job Description

IHH Healthcare Berhad is one of the world's largest private healthcare groups, providing high-quality medical care and services across its international network. With a presence in 10 countries, including key markets such as Malaysia, Singapore, Türkiye, and India, IHH operates over 80 hospitals and a wide range of ancillary services.

The Product Lead (Clinical Operations) will drive the development and delivery of digital and AI-enabled products to transform clinical operations across IHH. The role defines product strategy and roadmaps, translating frontline healthcare needs into scalable, user-centric solutions that enhance workforce productivity, operational efficiency, patient experience, care quality and healthcare outcomes.

Working closely with clinicians, nursing leaders, allied health professionals, hospital operations and technology teams, the Product Lead oversees the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and design to implementation, adoption and value realization. The ideal candidate combines strong product management expertise with hands-on healthcare clinical operations experience and a deep understanding of hospital workflows, care delivery, workforce operations and performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to define product vision, roadmap, business value, adoption strategy, and success measures.
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management from ideation through scale-up.
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and redesign operational processes using digital and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Mapping of current-state and future-state healthcare workflows.
  • Application development, low-code platforms, workflow automation, APIs, and systems integration concepts.
  • Lead the development and enhancement of digital products by leveraging Generative AI, AI agents, Copilot technologies, workflow orchestration and automation platforms to address clinical and operational use cases.
  • Developing and delivering digital products, workflow applications, automation and AI-enabled solutions, or healthcare technology platforms, with the ability to analyse operational data, define KPIs, utilize dashboards and reporting tools, and measure outcomes to drive data-informed product decisions and performance improvement.
  • Independently design and develop prototypes, dashboards, low-code applications, workflow automations, MVPs, and proof-of-concepts, or AI solutions and validate product hypotheses with users.
  • Rapidly test ideas, build prototypes, gather user feedback, and iterate products.
  • Drive adoption and organizational change through effective communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
  • Collaborate effectively with software engineers, solution architects and data teams while independently undertaking light development where required.
  • Ability to influence clinicians, nurses, operational leaders, and executive stakeholders.

Competencies/Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 8-12 years of relevant experience in healthcare operations, digital health, healthcare technology, product management, or healthcare transformation.
  • At least 5 years of healthcare clinical operations experience in Singapore, gained within hospitals, healthcare institutions, healthcare groups, or health technology organizations.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare and hospital operations within Singapore.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing workflows, patient flow, discharge processes, operating theatre operations, care coordination, workforce management, and hospital operational performance.
  • Strong understanding of digital health architecture, healthcare technology ecosystems, data analytics, AI, automation, and emerging technologies.
  • Working knowledge of Python, SQL, Power Platform, cloud platforms (Azure preferred), or equivalent technologies.
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems, clinical documentation systems, workforce systems, and healthcare interoperability concepts.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and change management capabilities.
