About RubberWay
RubberWay is a young start-up with a mission to improve supply chain transparency in the natural rubber industry. The project was first launched in 2016 by the Tire Manufacturer Michelin and became a standalone company incorporated in Singapore in 2020. Now, the shareholding structure is composed of both Michelin and Continental, serving major corporate clients such as Goodyear, Yokohama and Sumitomo.
We are proud of our dual culture of small company working with large businesses, giving us a foot in both the startup and corporate worlds. We are pleased to have a positive impact on the sustainability of the natural rubber industry.
RubberWay's first tool is a Risk-Mapping solution designed to help natural rubber processors identify social and environmental risks in their upstream supply chains. The solution comprises questionnaires that are uniquely tailored to each player in the natural rubber supply chain such as farmers and estates.
About The Position
The RubberWay team is looking for a Product Executive to support the management and deployment of the RubberWay Risk-Mapping product. You will work closely with a Tech Provider to address operational issues and implement product improvements. You will also engage with natural rubber processors from major sourcing countries to implement the Risk-Mapping solution in their supply chain.
Main Responsibilities
1. Product Management (45%)
- Monitor product performance and address operational issues that arise during product use.
- Conduct weekly Project Management meetings with Tech Provider to update on topics such as technical issues reported or identified in product and technical requirements of product improvements.
- Draft specification documents, dashboard protypes, etc., that translate project requirements to instructions that guide Tech Provider.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on pre-production environments before implementation of new developments (e.g., by creating and tracking test use cases).
2. Engagement with Natural Rubber processing factories (25%)
- Lead the onboarding and training of users through online meetings.
- Conduct regular follow-up sessions with existing users and maintain user database to track progress.
- Assist in preparation of analysis reports at the end of users assessments.
3. Strategic Product Improvement (20%)
- Provide support in improving product performance and functionality based on direct observation and user feedback.
- Work with Tech Provider to address product performance issues.
4. Stakeholder Engagement (10%)
- Assist with regular follow-up meetings with stakeholders (e.g., Tire Manufacturers, Non-Profit Organizations).
- Assist with company's strategic marketing on platforms like LinkedIn.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, Environmental Studies, Sustainability, or related fields.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience, preferably in product management, IT project management, supply chain sustainability
- Experience with dashboarding (e.g., Power BI) and data visualization will be an advantage.
- Strong proactivity and creativity, ability to propose new ideas
- Able to effectively handle multiple ongoing tasks.
- Interest in social and environmental sustainability.
