Job Responsibilities:
Own product performance from factory to post-installation, ensuring quality and consistency
Develop new OEM products with suppliers, including defining specifications and evaluating samples
Manage product sampling process and ensure continuous improvements across iterations
Balance cost and quality to meet target margins
Act as the main point of contact for suppliers on technical and quality matters
Monitor supplier performance and drive corrective and preventive actions
Establish QC standards, inspection checklists, and acceptable tolerance levels
Review and approve pre-shipment QC reports and batch releases
Investigate product defects and perform root cause analysis
Implement corrective actions and update specifications and QC processes
Analyse field issues and feedback from Customer Service and technicians
Maintain accurate product documentation (specs, drawings, BOM, QC standards)
Track NPD pipeline, sample progress, and issue resolution
Drive component standardisation to reduce SKU complexity and improve efficiency
Support product launches and provide technical support to internal teams
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
Alternatively, 1-2 years of experience in QC, factory operations, or technical roles
Experience in OEM product development, quality, or manufacturing environment preferred
Familiar with BOM, product specifications, and technical drawings
Understanding of manufacturing processes and defect analysis
Knowledge of QC standards and inspection processes
Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
Good communication skills to manage suppliers and internal stakeholders
Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organisational skills
Able to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
